American singer and songwriter Pharrell Williams is known for his upbeat nature and colorful style. Since he is quite a happy artist he is writing a song about Holi, the Hindu festival of colours with the release of the Hu Holi "Power dye" collection. Created in collaboration with Adidas, it includes five sneakers, four get-up styles, and a towel which has a beatiful mix of colours.
Notice on the last full day of the lunar month Phalguna (in the Hindu calendar) the annual spring festival is popular with Indians worldwide. On that day people go to the streets early, greeting friends and strangers with joy shouting "Happy Holi" before drenching them in coloured powder, water-filled balloons and even buckets of coloured water. Around the afternoon, partygoers head to nearby rivers or oceans for a quick rinse before returning home for a special feast and a well-deserved sleep.
